Corrections Policy

Islamic Edu Hub aims to correct material errors fairly and promptly after they are identified and verified. Accuracy matters especially when content concerns worship, belief, children’s education, calculations, or practical instructions.

A correction is intended to improve the record, not to conceal that an error occurred.

Send the page URL, the specific statement or feature you believe is incorrect, an explanation of the concern, and any reliable supporting reference available to you.

Clear, specific reports are easier to investigate than general objections. You do not need to provide personal information beyond what is necessary for communication.

We compare the report with the published page, relevant source material, technical behavior, and the context in which the statement appears.

For questions involving recognized scholarly disagreement, the appropriate response may be to clarify the scope or acknowledge differing views rather than label one established position as an error.

Minor changes may correct spelling, grammar, formatting, broken links, or wording that does not alter the substantive meaning.

Material corrections address inaccurate facts, misleading explanations, incorrect calculations, omitted context, source problems, or instructions that could materially affect a learner’s understanding or action.

We update the affected content directly so future readers receive the corrected information. When a change materially affects the meaning or reliability of a page, an appropriate correction or update note may be added.

We do not promise a public note for every typographical or presentational adjustment.

A modification date should reflect a genuine substantive update supported by project records. Dates must not be refreshed solely to make content appear recent.

Minor formatting or spelling adjustments do not necessarily require a new visible modification date.

When a page cannot be responsibly corrected in place, it may be substantially rewritten, replaced, redirected, restricted from indexing, or removed.

Removal decisions consider user safety, legal obligations, duplication, technical integrity, and whether the resource can still serve a legitimate educational purpose.

We review good-faith reports, but we cannot guarantee an individual reply or a particular resolution. Repeated, abusive, irrelevant, or unsupported submissions may not receive a response.

Submitting a concern does not transfer ownership of submitted material or require Islamic Edu Hub to publish it.
