Zakat Calculator

Estimate zakat on cash, gold and silver, investments, business assets, expected receivables, and other eligible wealth using your chosen current nisab threshold.

Guided estimate

Calculate your estimated zakat

Enter amounts in one currency. Empty asset fields are treated as zero. Use a current nisab value from a trusted local source.

Nisab changes with gold or silver prices and scholarly method, so enter the threshold you intend to use.

Eligible assets

Cash on hand plus current and savings account balances.

Enter the current monetary value of eligible gold and silver.

Enter the zakatable value of eligible shares and investments.

Include eligible trading stock and business cash.

Include debts you reasonably expect to receive.

Add other assets you have determined are zakatable.

Include only liabilities you have determined may be deducted under the zakat guidance you follow.

How this Zakat Calculator works

The calculator totals the eligible assets you enter and subtracts the short-term liabilities you choose to include. It then compares your net zakatable wealth with the nisab threshold entered in the form.

If your net amount reaches or exceeds that threshold, the tool calculates an estimated zakat amount at the standard rate of 2.5%. If it remains below the entered threshold, the estimated amount is zero.
